Chris Hilling completed the 100k from London to Brighton in aid of his chosen charities
This is a one off. Chris has not done a sponsored event since his schooldays and probably won’t do one again.
Chris is raising money for three causes:
- All Saints East Stratton where Chris is Churchwarden. Following this year’s exceptional wet weather, the church has suffered over £50,000 of water damage; and
- The Blind Veterans Association, the organisers of the 100k Challenge, who provide lifelong practical and emotional support for Service veterans; and
- The Forgotten Mouths Trust, a new charity of which Chris is a trustee, which promotes awareness of the forgotten elderly and disabled, suffering with dental problems in Care Homes and the community and provides a pathway to the correct dental treatment for them.
The Staff and Patients at SpaDental Wem have raised a substantial amount over the past couple of weeks in support of The Forgotten Mouths Trust
STEP 1: “Like” this Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/100kLondonToBrighton – that is easy!
STEP 2: Support this limber 55-year-old (has that been mentioned yet?) so comments of encouragement are going to be most welcome.
STEP 3: Sponsor him – there are two ways:
- Send a cheque made payable to “All Saints East Stratton PCC” to East Stratton Farmhouse, East Stratton, Hampshire, SO21 3DU. All Saints PCC’s treasurer has kindly agreed to administer the collection of monies and gift aid and the distribution of the funds; or
- Online: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/ChrisGuy100k
STEP 4: Monitor the Facebook page to keep in touch with their progress.
