Our dental therapist, Tom Wardiell, is back in school! Tom is lending a hand, using his experience to help others. He’s one of a team supporting future dentists. Tom has joined Plymouth University as a clinical advisor at the Dental Education Facility in Derriford.
Tom is working alongside a team of qualified dentists, dental nurses and hygienists. They offer invaluable support, knowledge and education to young dentists. Tom will focus on providing support to dental and dental hygienist/therapy students.

‘My first day was on Tuesday this week. It was very interesting getting to know all the students, the staff and finding my way around. I can’t wait to get stuck in. It’s good helping the bright stars of the future in dentistry,’ says Tom.
