SpaDental Plymouth appreciates you are busy and it can be hard to get in touch. We understand how frustrating it is when you’ve managed to find time to call us but the line’s busy and you experience difficulty getting through. You may find it quicker and easier to send us an email.
To make contact quickly, send us an email!
If you don’t get a response from us before the end of the next working day, you can resend your email.
Do you need to cancel an appointment?
If you need to cancel an appointment, we kindly ask that all patients give at least 24 hours notice. This is so that we can schedule another patient on stand-by in your place, helping our clinicians to use their time effectively.
You can let us know:
- by telephone (if the line’s not too busy!) on: 01752 663870
- or by email to: plymouth@spadental.co.uk
We contact patients to understand why they were not able to attend scheduled appointments.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept as the reason you did not cancel your appointment that you had difficulty getting through by telephone to SpaDental Plymouth.
- If you do experience difficulty getting through by phone, be sure to email us.
- The date stamp on your email will show you sent the message at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment.
- As a courtesy,we send appointment reminders to patients. Please help us by making sure your contact information is correct and up-to-date.
If you’re an NHS patient:
- It’s important to remember that if you miss an appointment without notifying the surgery, you risk losing your registration.
- Failed NHS appointments are a sad reality.
If you’re a private patient:
- There is a charge for missed private dental appointments or ones cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
- The missed appointment charge is based on the current rate of £1/minute for the length of the scheduled appointment. (eg: if you missed a twenty minute appointment, the charge is £20).
