Special offer – affordable dental examinations for children
8th July 2022 | Posted by: Vanessa GiraudAware of how difficult access to dental care is at the moment, we want children to be able to access affordable dental examinations to help keep their teeth healthy for life. Therefore, our private dental practices are organising dedicated Children’s Days and we invite you to book an appointment for only £15.
Affordable dental examinations for children
- SpaDental is offering examinations for children at a cut price of £15.
- This represents a 44% discount on the usual cost of an examination for a child.
- The offer is open for all children of eleven years old, or younger.
- If you have more than one child, then you may book an appointment for each child, and we will do our best to cluster the booking.
- To secure the appointment the parent/guardian will be asked to pay in advance.
- We especially look forward to meeting children who have not visited our practice before.

About your clinician
The appointment will be with Abdul Wahab who recently joined SpaDental. He offers special children’s examinations in Glastonbury, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Tewkesbury. Abdul qualified as a dentist in India and has over fifteen years’ experience in India and the UAE. While he is waiting for an opportunity to sit the registration examinations to practice as a dentist in England, Abdul registered with the GDC as a dental therapist.

Good to know
A child’s dental examination includes a risk-assessment of your child’s oral health to determine if they are at risk of developing caries.
If your child requires further treatment, your dental therapist can develop a treatment plan. Dental therapists can deliver further hygiene and preventive treatment, including fluoride painting. They also perform routine treatments, including placing fillings.
Should your child require further treatment, one of the team can discuss payment options. We offer good value dental plans for both adults and children that help to spread the cost of regular examinations and include a 10% discount on essential treatments. We have a referral system in place if your child requires treatment beyond the scope of practice of a dental therapist.

About Children’s Day
For children, going to the dentist can be a daunting experience.
Some children are more nervous than others, and others have difficulty processing all the new information. Our dedicated children’s days aim to create an especially child-friendly and welcoming environment of these special days dedicated to promoting children’s oral health.
