100 more NHS places open to new patients
As we have increased our clinical hours so we’re delighted we can offer NHS dental care to 100 more adults and children.
This is possible because we’ve increased our team to two dental therapists. They are supported by two dentists who attend the practice regularly. We are now open on Saturdays and Sundays, and offer evening appointments on most weekdays.
Please get in touch as soon as you can as we expect the appointments to be taken up quickly. Fill in the form below and one of our team will be in touch.
Apply using the form below
We are only able to process applications submitted via the form below, not by phone, email or in person.
Don’t delay, as we expect places to fill quickly!
With only 100 new appointments available, we are opening this page to applicants for a 24hr period. If we are overwhelmed, we will need to close down this page sooner so administrative demands do not overwhelm our staff.
Please keep an eye on your email to check for messages (including your junk folder!).
Your appointment
During the week, new patients are assessed by our dental therapist, Abel Adeosun. A dentist with overseas qualifications, Abel has a wide range of skills, but the GDC restricts his Scope of Practice until he has the opportunity to sit Overseas Registration Examinations (ORE). We are delighted to add dental therapist Shyam Ganta to the team to provide Saturday appointments.
SpaDental dentist Aryaan Khalid visits SpaDental Whitchurch monthly to treat a small number of patients with more complex needs, such as extractions or crowns. SpaDental dentist Lucy Tupman, and Clinical Director, attends the practice regularly, paying special attention to patients requiring more complex endodontic treatment.
How to apply
Simply fill in the contact form at the end of this page and one of our staff will be in touch.
Your NHS Access:
Please be mindful of the demand nationwide for NHS dental appointments.
- Always attend any appointment booked, or cancel the appointment more than 24 hours in advance.
- Make sure you book your next dental examination before you leave the practice. Whether it’s three, six, nine or even twelve months in advance, our reception teams will help you make your next appointment, and send you reminders nearer the time as well.
- Check and update your contact details. Be sure they are correct, especially your email address and mobile phone. If we can keep in touch with you, then we can help you keep on track so you don’t miss your appointment.
- If you are caring for an older person, then help them by tracking their appointments with them.
Note:
- SpaDental will remove patients from the practice’s NHS list for non-attendance.
- Patients who have failed to attend one appointment are given a warning. Failure to attend the second appointment means that the patient cannot book any further appointments with the practice, including emergency appointments.
- SpaDental practices that provide NHS treatment all have an extensive patient waiting list. We aim to schedule valuable clinical time to benefit all patients.
