Crowns at Glastonbury
For complete, natural-looking coverage.
Crowns, or ‘caps’, completely cover unsightly teeth affected by damage, decay, discolouration or large fillings. They can also be used to secure a dental bridge, protect a tooth after root canal therapy or attached to implants to replace missing teeth.
These long-lasting restorations are custom-made by skilled technicians, using durable materials, such as porcelain, which also blend in perfectly for a natural-looking result.
How they help
- Cover flaws and enhance the look of unsightly teeth
- Protect and strengthen a weakened tooth
- Offer a hard-wearing, long-term solution
Looking after your crown
So your crown lasts for as long as possible, it is important to maintain excellent oral hygiene. You should keep your teeth and gums healthy by brushing twice daily with a fluoride toothpaste and cleaning between your teeth with floss or interdental brushes. You should also attend regular appointments with your dentist and hygienist.
A crown does not prevent decay developing at the gum line or stop you from developing gum disease, so it’s important to keep your restored tooth free from bacteria.
