What is the Armed Forces Covenant?
“The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.”
The covenant promotes opportunities for local organisations, businesses and individuals to appreciate the dedicated service of the armed forces. It is a vehicle for the civilian community to recognise the men, women and families who serve their country.
