Paying for your treatment

We believe it is important to be open and transparent, therefore we will provide you with a written estimate of your treatment costs. Should your treatment plan change, then your clinician will discuss this with you.

We offer a choice of payment options which vary by location please contact your practice reception team who will provide detailed information.

Private Costs – ‘Pay as you Go’

This is a very simple option where you pay for dental care or treatment as you need it. Treatments available and fees vary by location, for more information please select your local practice.

As well as offering our own monthly plans, some practices also offer Denplan schemes. Please ask at your chosen practice for availability.

Denplan Essentials

The focus of this plan is on prevention, covering your regular examinations (including routine x-rays) and hygiene appointments. Should you require additional treatment, your plan entitles you to discounts on routine restorative treatments.

For a modest monthly cost, you receive the following key benefits:

  • care for your long term dental health
  • the cost of your preventative care spread over monthly payments
  • no registration fee
  • no requirement to be ‘dentally fit’ before joining
  • dental accident and emergency cover
  • discounts on clinically necessary treatment fees
  • supplementary insurance if you are away from home and have to see a dentist in an emergency

Denplan Care

These comprehensive plans cover preventative care as well as a broad range of restorative treatments you may need. Fees are set in bands depending on your dental history and likely treatment requirements. Your monthly fee is agreed with your Dentist following a detailed examination and assessment.

For your monthly payment you receive the following benefits:

  • care for long term dental health
  • the cost of your dental care spread over monthly instalments
  • all your routine treatment included
  • no registration fee
  • dental accident and emergency cover if you are away from home and have to see a dentist

Interest-Free and Low-Cost Payment Options

More extensive treatment plans can be arranged with an interest-free or low-cost payment option over an extended period at most practices.

NHS dental charges

NHS Dental charges are based on three treatment bands, One to Three, that dictate the fee to be charged to the patient unless the patient can claim a qualifying exemption.
