Fees at the Plymouth practice

We believe it is important to be open and clear about all patient fees

We provide you with a written estimate of your planned treatment fees at the Plymouth practice. Should your treatment plan need to change, then your clinician will discuss and confirm the fee changes with you.

The range of treatment may be limited by the payment scheme the patient is registered under with the practice.

The patient payment schemes are:

A Plan or NHS patient may elect to have treatment not covered by their scheme. It is possible to register as a private patient and pay the private patient fees.

Private Patients

The whole range of treatments offered by our clinicians is available to any patients on a ‘Pay as You Go’ Private Fee basis.

Our private fee guide gives an indicative fee for the proposed treatment, however, this may need to change as your treatment proceeds.  Your clinician will agree with you the change of plan and fees before any further treatment is provided.

We offer a range of payment methods including cash, all major credit cards and finance plans for treatment plans in excess of £450.

Plan Patients

Choose between Denplan Essentials and Denplan Care. Our monthly payment plans help you to access the dental treatments you require. At the same time, you can spread out the cost of your yearly dental care. fees at the Plymouth surgery - Denplan lady with apple

The Denplan Essential plan at Plymouth covers those aspects of your dental care that are vital for maintaining good oral health. It focuses on prevention, covering your regular check-ups (including x-rays), and hygiene appointments. If we discover your teeth need some extra care and attention, this plan also includes discounts for routine restorative treatments.

The comprehensive Denplan Care plan covers your preventive care, as well as a broad range of restorative treatments, such as fillings and root canal therapy.

Please note that Denplan Care payment plans do not cover lab fees, implants and cosmetic treatments. Patients are also required to be dentally healthy before registration.

NHS Patients

The NHS structures patient treatments into three treatment band categories. Some patients are able to claim a qualifying exemption.
