I have been a patient of Mr.Gilmore for many years and have always appreciated his advice and treatment. He is very good at putting people at their ease.

I also see Nikki the hygienist who I find very professional and pleasant. I have always been more than satisfied with her work. A very slight niggle is that I am often kept waiting.

Excellent dentist though some reception staff could be a little friendlier over the phone.

I am always respected by the staff, who explain my dental needs carefully and offer me their expertise and solutions.

I feel valued and relaxed under treatment.

I’m very happy with the way the staff are friendly, yet professional and helpful. I don’t like having my mouth messed with but they are very sensitive and careful.

I visited the surgery for the first time last week. I was quite apprehensive, as I had recently lost 2 large fillings and was dreading having my assessment as I was sure both teeth would be unsalvageable!. The dentist and dental nurse were very friendly and welcoming and the dentist explained what treatment was required, along with costing, which was totally transparent. The only down side was that I had to wait 3.5 weeks for the appointment and again, I have to wait a further 3 weeks until the first available appointment for the first filling, which as a private patient, I really wasn’t expecting to have to wait quite that long, although I have been put on a cancellation list, just in case a sooner appointment becomes available.

Usually a long wait not so at spa fit you in usually at your convenience

I’m of a highly nervous disposition and like most people dread the regular examination and ensuing treatment at the Dentist Surgery. The extrodinary experience at SPA Dental is, the dentist and nurses go out of their way to make you feel at ease. They talk you through your treatment and give aftercare instructions.

Been going to [my dentist] for about 10 years now and although its expensive going as a private patient, he is excellent dentist who always explains everything before hand. The reception staff always have a laugh with you and make you feel comfortable.

Both the dentist and hygienist pay considerable attention to detail and everything is explained carefully.

I have always attended the dentist on a regular basis since a small child, but also since then, until now, have been a very nervous patient. I think, partly due to the fact early dental treatment was quite scary. However, I have never felt less worried and anxious about attending the dentist than I do now. Yes, I still am nervous, but have always found all of the staff here so patient, relaxed, and good at their jobs, that fear soon subsides. I also know that there is an holistic approach, which for someone like me is so helpful. I also feel more relaxed because I never feel rushed, and there is a general atmosphere of calm. I feel my oral hygiene has never been so good, and I’ve had some excellent repair work on my ageing teeth. I just wish I had started coming to this practice when I first moved to Chard.

I find the staff always friendly and professional – Helena always sorts my appointments out. Bea is always calm and reassuring . If I need an appointment in a hurry I have been given that appointment. Mr Martin is always knowledgeable and professional- a great team and well recommended.
