What to expect during a first examination
As well as receiving a wonderfully warm welcome when you first visit your local SpaDental practice, you will also find your initial appointment will last a little longer than usual. This is to enable us to assess your mouth thoroughly and enquire about your general health and well-being. We may also want to take x-rays to reveal hidden problems and get an accurate picture of your teeth.
During a full examination of your teeth, gums and jaw bone, we look for dental problems, such as cavities and gum disease. We will also check the surrounding soft tissues for signs of oral cancer.
After a full assessment, we will suggest any treatment that might be necessary. It is also a great opportunity to talk through cosmetic options if you are hoping to spruce up your smile.
We take the time to listen carefully to your concerns and aspirations, so your ongoing care will be specially tailored to your unique dental needs.
