Recent visit
My family and I had an appointment for 12 noon and had to wait an hour as the dentist was running late. Dentists never seem to stay more than a couple of months, appointments always getting cancelled last minute due to either the dentist being ill or leaving. No dentist ever says the same thing about the condition of your teeth. Used to be a great practice but seems to be losing itself

Always had good treatment from the surgery and all who work there. I have been with the practice for approximately 40 years which indicates I am vey happy with they service I receive

I have always been very pleased with the way the receptionists try really hard to be helpful and lean over backwards to find me appointment times to suit. They are always extremely pleasant and sympathetic. I like the way my dentist always explains everything and I feel at ease during treatment and have every confidence in his ability and experience. The only problem I have had is having to wait several weeks for treatment, although my original emergency appointment was very quick.
Very pleasant staff
All the staff I have dealt with have been pleasant, respectful, and put me at ease. They have always explained details of treatment and cost.
I had swallow gum filled with pus?
I visited the spa dental and was helped by the receptionist immediately and with lot of care she managed to get me an appointment with the dentist the same day as I was travelling the next day. Sorry don’t remember the name? She has silver hair with glasses and slim lady? Really sorry cannot describe any better. Thank you to all the staff.

Best dental practice
[My dentist] has helped me with my anxieties around visiting the dentist. Would not want to go anywhere else.
I have allready recommended this dental practice to my wife.
I have only been at this dentist for the last 2 years and I am very pleased with the way I am treated by them. It is such a pity, that I did have this dentist when I was a child. I have recommended them to my wife and she is waiting to join them. So please don’t join them find, some other dentist. I want to get all my family on their books.

The experience was excellent from seeing receptionist to seeing the dentist to seeing the hygienist .
Wait is long for private fees
I’ve gone private as I was fed up of waiting for appointments. Last appoint was 35 minutes late! I’m always happy with the dentistry however it’s so busy I can never get through on the phone. Last appointment my payment didn’t go through as the card machine didn’t connect – I sugggest you get a new one as I had to come in again the next day to pay . I then received a letter days later which was an invoice. My card worked- your card machine didn’t so I do not appreciate a letter as well as the phone call I responded to straight away.

This year there’s been a lot of mistakes from spa dentists, first I had s call to rearrange my appointment for the end of my, which I could not do so I said just cancel and I will rebook. Which I did. I was told I missed my appointment back in May, I explained someone range me to rearrange it but the reception told me that could not of happened! Then I called to book an appointment as I broke a tooth it was temporarily filled I paid and rebooked to she my dentist, which I did the girl in the dentist room gave me my records told me to pass them in at reception, which I did she said that it all done so I left. Too then get a letter saying I owed them money. I came and paid. Then got another let saying I had not paid. I rang but too busy to answer phone left a message and no one rang to acknowledge or anything.
Cost of treatment
I wasn’t made clear of the costs for seeing the hygienist, i.e. covered by NHS or a private payment.

Routine check and Hygenist
The appointment time was met and I did not have to wait. Dentist was thorough and helpful. He pointed out some issues that might becomes problems in the future but confirmed nothing needed doing immediately. An x ray was taken and shown to me. The hygienist visit was also on time and the examination and treatment was quick and efficient. Check up date was 17 Oct.

I visit the hygienist 6 monthly, she is excellent.
I see the dentist annually, and have never had any problems. Any situations are explained in depth so you know exactly what is happening and why.
