Patient reviews of the Glastonbury practice

My treatment plan has only just got started so the finish won’t be until sometime in 2022 so it’s too soon to write much of a review which is why I only gave 3 stars for the outcome of my treatment.

Very nice dentist and all staff

I was given an appointment very quickly to solve a problem with a new partial denture. The issue was resolved quickly and efficiently by the dentist with no further work necessary.

I highly recommend this dental practice. High standards of dental care is delivered.

The team are professional and all the treatment plans are effectively discussed during the consultation process.

Procedures are explained with the rationale for the treatment. This provides confidence as a patient. During the procedures the Dentist explains everything which also provides reassurance.

The staff are friendly and engaging being the Dentist, Dental Nurses, Hygienist and the lovely receptionist.

I have had regular treatments and throughout this my confidence has grown to being less anxious of visiting the dentist.

I registered with the practice earlier in the year. I have to say that the staff are friendly, professional and provide an excellent service. My Treatment plan has been integrated in terms of consultations with full explanations of the recommendations and procedures advised. This enabled an informed choice as a patient whilst understanding the necessary treatment required. There was no pressure to agree to the treatment plan however.

In addition, during the course of my plan, the Dentist carefully explained what was involved with the procedures.

As a nervous patient that has had a deep rooted phobia of dentists, i was made to feel at ease and the standard of care is high. Infact this dental team has been the only ones that have eliminated alot of my dental fears with.

In my opinion the cost of the dental fees are reasonable and reflect competitive pricing.

I would highly recommend this practice.

First appointment went really well, professional team yet able to hold a conversation with you as well! Particularly thought the lady receptionist was great and the service from all gave confidence to the amount of dental issues I have.

I experienced an excellent service. Appointment was on time, and every step in the procedure was explained carefully. i would recommend this practice to anyone. The costs seem fair and the different treatments available along with the prices are carefully explained. At no point did I feel the pressure to make an on the spot decision, and so took time to make the choice. The staff are kind efficient and I felt very relaxed.

As a new patient, I was welcomed by all staff and made to feel at ease. Thank you.

I think the prices are rising too hight for my liking. My last hygiene appointment was £90 and today I was charged £118. That is outrageous.

Everyone is very friendly and professional. My only gripe is the amount of reminders I get about my appointments eg too many! I know there are people who miss appts or don’t cancel but I’ve never been one of them! I’ve had emails galore in the past few weeks plus even today on the morning of my appt which was at 9.30am, I had a text message around 8am reminding me it was today! I find it irritating and patronising. I also don’t understand (or agree with) why I am contacted prior to each appt for a deposit to be taken!

Horrified to see £197 on the card payment machine!

Partially raising an existing crown that came loose, injecting a small amount of adhesive underneath and then biting down.

In and out in 10 minutes.

How is that costing that much? I’m a returning customer who has already had a decent amount of work done and I WAS looking towards returning for another two crowns that I know I need.

Really really reconsidering my options – and for private dentistry there are lots of options.

Was asked to pay the bill after her check up when it had already been paid the previous month when asked for upfront payment over the telephone. Not happy about this.

I didn’t have any treatment. When I got to surgery I was told there was an equipment failure so I now have to wait until about April! Not happy, as my plaque will be so bad by April it’s going to really hurt and I won’t get 4 deep cleans this year which I was told I really need.

Very disappointed that to continue my original plan I would have to travel to Chard. The revised plan in my opinion is not value for money. This is not a reflection on the staff

Very pleased with all aspects of my appointment yesterday. These long winded review requests however are a nuisance and could be streamlined surely?!
