Good treatment but quite expensive

Spa dental treatment

As a disabled pensioner private treatment is too expensive

Confusion at reception desk.

I arrived early for my appointment with hygienist and was directed to wait at downstairs hygienist room. A little later another patient arrived at same room. We both had 12.00 pm appointments. I queried this at reception and was not given a clear answer. It took 10 minutes for a member of staff to realise that I should have been directed to first floor.

This was apparently due to the presence of trainees. Fair enough. But I would have hoped that trading/process was done before hand not in flight.

Communication

With the greatest respect to the hygienist, who did a good job, I often found it a bit difficult to understand what he was saying to me. Masks don’t really help at all.

Visit for a check up

Excellent treatment, very nice mannered dentist at Ledbury, but very expensive for a pensioner

P M

Expensive for 18 minutes

I think of it is a half hour appointment it should last half an hour or it should be cheaper.

Total waste of money

Although the website promises a treatment plan which includes timeframe and cost. I got nothing. Still waiting to hear back from the practice manager !

S J

Good but pricey

Excellent service but expensive. Prices have increased tremendously over the last couple of years.

P E

BIG PRICE RISES.

I AM VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER BY ALL STAFF.MY GRIPE WAS HAVING PAID £98 FOR A CLEAN AND POLISH,WHEN THE LAST ONE WAS £70.I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THIS HUGE INCREASE AND IT CAME AS A SHOCK.I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE THIS PRACTISE,BUT WITH THESE PRICES I MAY HAVE TO.I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVE,SO I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO I GUESS TIME WILL TELL.FOR THOSE WHO CAN AFFORD THESE PRICES,THEN I WOULD SAY GO AHEAD.

Great service but expensive

I was pleased to see that I no longer had to wait outside & one of the toilets had been re-opened.

I went in to the hygienist, no waiting. I find the service is really good but treatment expensive & the cost not discussed much. A repair to a small crack in my tooth cost me nearly £200 earlier this year.

Form

The visit was a good experience the only annoying thing is the annual form to fill in. I feel it’s a bit lazy on the IT side and doesn’t need to be so long. Most of anyones circumstances cannot change ie. What ethnic race. How old are These should already be on file. You only need to ask if any medically things have changed. The form to be honest is a pain in the Arsenal

Happy with service

As above

Overcharged for ‘assessment’

Having waited four weeks to be seen I was then charged over £58 for an ‘assessment’ even though I had not had a check up in over a year and had paid fees monthly. The ‘assessment’ basically reiterated what I had told the practice before going. I felt that the assessment fee should not have been charged.

Cost not discussed before doing xray

Went for a checkup. All OK. Dentist suggested I needed an xray and did it. No mention of the price at the time. XRAY was ready in mins and loaded up on the screen. He said that looks all ok. I had to ask him what all the shading was on the teeth and other bits. He did explain but I should not have needed to ask. I left having spent £78.

Satisfied with my treatment

I find if telephoning I have to go onto a long “hold” which never happened before you took over. As always with Private Dentistry. You are expensive , which appears to rise each time I have a 6 monthly check up. I have always had good and helpful treatment.

Hygienist appointment

I was not happy with the dental nurse as she didn’t seem capable of suctioning the fluid generated therefore a lot was swallowed. Not a nice experience.
