As a new patient at our Tewkesbury surgery:
Your initial appointment will probably last a little longer than you may be used to. This is to enable your clinician to assess your mouth thoroughly, learn about your general health, and your well-being. We may also take x-rays to reveal hidden problems and get an accurate picture of your teeth.
During a full examination of your teeth, gums and jaw, we look for dental problems, such as cavities and gum disease. We will also check the surrounding soft tissues for signs of oral cancer.
We take time to listen carefully to your concerns and aspirations, so your ongoing care will be specially tailored to your unique dental needs.
After a full assessment, we will suggest any treatment that might be necessary. Your dentist will also be open to talking about cosmetic options to enhance the appearance of your teeth.
