Looking after your crown
So your crown lasts for as long as possible, it is important to maintain excellent oral hygiene. You should keep your teeth and gums healthy by brushing twice daily with a fluoride toothpaste and cleaning between your teeth with floss or interdental brushes. You should also attend regular appointments with your dentist and hygienist.
A crown does not prevent decay developing at the gum line or stop you from developing gum disease, so it’s important to keep your restored tooth free from bacteria.
