Thumbs up for an implant- another happy patient!

We’d like to share with you a testimonial from one of our implant patients. We value patient feedback as helping you feel good is our most important target.

Mr B was wondering whether to have an implant. His comments are so positive, and helpful for anyone else who is thinking about similar treatment!

How did your implant consultation visit go?

I recently saw Mr Miller to find out what was involved in having a dental implant. I wanted to fill in the gap where an old tooth had been removed.

He explained that I’d need an x-ray, and a thorough examination of my mouth – my gums, teeth and jaw. Mr MIller took measurements of my teeth, and the spaces between the teeth too.

He also needed to estimate my bone density to see if my jawbone could hold the implant. I learned I’d need another x-ray as well if I went ahead with the implant, to confirm his view.

The whole consultation took about half-an-hour and was entirely painless.  Mr Miller explained the requirements and the stages involved in the implant work. During the session, I learned a lot about the treatment, which helped me feel I could make the right choice.

At the end of the examination, I was pleased to hear that I could have the treatment if I wanted. An implant would be feasible. Mr Miller explained that, as with any surgery, there are risks, even if they are minimal. He also made it clear what the cost would be and how I could pay. He didn’t want me to have any bad surprises!

With the information I was given, I was able to make a properly informed decision about the next stage of implant treatment and how we could proceed.

I feel confident now that I will get excellent care and a very good result!
