We are delighted to extend an open invitation to residents and visitors to Glastonbury: come to a photography exhibition at your local dentist!

The staff and patients of SpaDental Glastonbury are enjoying having the works of photographer Peter Longden on display, and we’re looking forward to sharing them with others too. Why not come in to have a look?

During opening hours, everyone is welcome to come in, say hello and view the photographs.

Introducing Peter Longden, photographer

Peter left behind his career as a chartered librarian to follow his passion. His long-time interest in mystical and sacred landscapes drew him to this beautiful part of Somerset. It provides inspiration for him to capture some of these remarkable places through a camera lens.

Peter’s eye for the beauty of the landscape combines with his mastery of the complex techniques of modern photography to create the exquisite photographs on display.

Underlying Peter’s photographs is his fascination with landscape features and topographical alignments. Somerset, an area steeped in history and mysticism, is the perfect location to fuel Peter’s creative interpretation of his surroundings. Whether it’s the passing seasons or the fleeting seconds of the day, the shadowed undulations of the land or the changing cloud formations, Peter aims to capture moments that are enigmatic. They would be elusive without his perceptive camera lens.

Peter’s fine art prints:

Peter believes the quality of the print is integral to the final success of the artwork. He has his images reproduced using the modern technique of giclée developed for digital photography. The pigments are colour-fast and, as the ink jet printers combine twelve colours. They reflect a remarkable range of depth and nuance. Such subtlety is vital to convey the complexity of the scenes Peter depicts. Moreover, Peter uses archive quality fine art papers, and soft white, bevel-cut mounts.

As well as mounted fine art prints, Peter also sells a range of quality greetings cards via his website.

Peter is a patient at SpaDental Glastonbury, and it’s been a good experience for him.
