Paula’s jumping for joy and helping children as well

…so she’s skydiving! By jumping for joy she’s actually helping disadvantaged children too!
Paula says, “I’ve reached the age of 36 and done nothing exciting in my life. Mid-life crisis? Maybe so! But here’s my chance to make a huge difference.”

Paula Thompson is the practice manager of:
- SpaDental Chard,
- Glastonbury, and
- Tewkesbury.
Earlier this summer, around the time of her birthday, Paula decided she wanted to do something memorable. Something exciting for her personally, but also satisfying as an event.
Why did Paula decide to mark turning 36 with a special adventure? Well, a lot has happened since she was eighteen! Not only does Paula share her life with her football-crazy son and spend hours in the gym, as you know she’s a busy working mum with a job she loves (of course!). So Paula’s busy, but never too busy to think of other people.

Paula’s skydive is scheduled for 21st September, 2019
This means Paula’s got less than a month to reach her fundraising target, and would really appreciate any support you can offer!
Heart’s Big Skydive offers brave people the chance to register and pay £70 to book the skydive. This means that the sponsorship money Paula makes goes to Global’s Make Some Noise. It’s a national charity that funds and empowers projects, helping disadvantaged children, young people and their families.

What Paula loves most about her work is the people she meets, whether it’s her patients or colleagues. Paula particularly enjoys the opportunity to work with children. She’s active in encouraging parents to bring their youngsters into the practices for dental checks.
But she’s also very aware that not all children around the UK are equally fortunate in the care and attention they receive.
Paula says, ” I’m inspired by the work of Global’s Make Some Noise and want to support them by raising money through my participation in Heart’s Big Skydive. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can.
